Ghizlane Moussaoui was born in Oran, Algeria and has been a Montrealer for the past 20 years. She earned her physiotherapy degree and later completed medical school at McGill University. Ghizlane was attracted to urology for its breath of practice and the impact urologists can have on patients’ quality of life. Ghizlane fostered this interest further through her involvement in research and clinical endeavors under the supervision of her incredible mentor, Dr. Mélanie Aubé-Peterkin. Outside of medicine, Ghizlane enjoys baking French pastries and keeping active through kickboxing and hiking. Ghizlane is thrilled to be joining the UBC Urology program this upcoming July and explore all that Vancouver has to offer!
