Robin Mawson was born and raised in Vancouver and completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science. She subsequently moved to Toronto for medical school, where she discovered the exciting field of Urology late in the third year thanks to so wonderful mentors at U of T. During her elective in Vancouver, she was impressed by the team-oriented residence and the excellent surgical training provided by UBC‘s program; she is thrilled to have the opportunity to join the team in July. Outside of the hospital, Robin enjoys playing soccer and biking and looking forward to crossing more, amazing Vancouver hikes off her bucket list.
